# Step 1-1: EFI - Without USB

Setting up EFI to boot without USB - If you have done the one with USB then dont do this.

Search up <mark style="color:blue;">disk management</mark> in search bar, you should find "<mark style="color:blue;">Create or format hard disk partitions</mark>" in your search bar.

* An alternative way would be be to hold down both the <mark style="color:blue;">Windows key</mark> and the <mark style="color:blue;">R</mark> key dey at the same time untill you see a windows like this usually in the bottom left corner of the screen above your taskbar

* Type <mark style="color:blue;">diskmgmt.msc</mark> into that box and press enter, you should be brought to <mark style="color:blue;">disk managment</mark> which will be useful in step 2
* If you happen to use a different language than English an alternative way is to hold down the <mark style="color:blue;">Windows</mark> and <mark style="color:blue;">R</mark> together, you should see a box that usually appears in the bottom left corner of your screen saying "<mark style="color:blue;">Run</mark>"

* Type "<mark style="color:blue;">diskmgmt.msc</mark>" in the box as in the above picture and click "<mark style="color:blue;">Enter</mark>" or click "<mark style="color:blue;">Ok</mark>" and you should be brough to disk managment will be useful in a second

Inside disk management right click your main partition (this should be indicated by the volume labled <mark style="color:orange;">C:</mark>) and press <mark style="color:blue;">shrink volume.</mark>

After clicking on that, you should see a window looking like this&#x20;

* Keep in mind that the size of shrink available to you might differ to you than the following picture depending on the amount of disk space you have left on your hard drive.

In the <mark style="color:blue;">Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB</mark> type <mark style="color:blue;">3000.</mark>

If your <mark style="color:blue;">Size of available shrink space in MB</mark> is below than 3000 then type in the maximum number you see in there

Then press <mark style="color:blue;">Shrink</mark>.

It will create a new partition looking like this.

Right click the <mark style="color:blue;">Unallocated partition</mark> and press <mark style="color:blue;">New simple volume</mark> -> <mark style="color:blue;">next</mark> -> <mark style="color:blue;">next</mark> -> <mark style="color:blue;">next</mark> then put the following settings:

Click <mark style="color:blue;">Next</mark> and then <mark style="color:blue;">Finish.</mark>

Then right click the new FAT32 partition and click Open - now you copy all the files inside of the <mark style="color:blue;">Copy The inside files to USB And boot it</mark> that is inside of the .rar u extracted earlier into the Partition.

It should look like this once done:

Then hold <mark style="color:blue;">Shift</mark> while you click the restart button within windows - <mark style="color:purple;">Hold all the way until you see this:</mark>

<mark style="color:blue;">If you are 100% sure you have CSM, TPM & Secure boot disabled then click use a device and then click your USB.</mark>

<mark style="color:red;">DISCALIMER! This will not work if you dont turn off the above settings in your UEFI bios, Please don't continue following the tutorial without it.</mark>

If NOT then follow the following:

* Click <mark style="color:blue;">Troubleshoot</mark>
* Then <mark style="color:blue;">Advanced options</mark>
* Then <mark style="color:blue;">UEFI Firmware Settings</mark>
* Then <mark style="color:blue;">Restart</mark>

Once u are in Bios you need to turn off <mark style="color:blue;">CSM</mark>, <mark style="color:blue;">TPM</mark> & <mark style="color:blue;">Secure Boot</mark>.
